The country group Rascal Flatts is a very well known name around the world. The group formed in 2000 in Nashville, Tennessee. The group is made up of the members Gary LeVox (lead Vocals), Jay DeMarcus (Bass Guitar), and Joe Don Rooney (guitarist).

In 2000, Rascal released their first album entitled “Rascal Flatts”. The album went to number 3 on the US Top Country Charts and went to 2 times platinum. They released the singles like “Prayin for Daylight”, “While you loved me” and a big hit “I’m Movin On”. The biggest single for this album was “Prayin for Daylight” which went to number 3.

In 2002, Rascal Flatts released another hit album “Melt”. This album hit number 1 on the US Top Country Charts and went two times platinum. This album popped out top hitting singles like “These Days”, “Love you Out Loud”, “I Melt” and “Mayberry”. These singles went to the number 1, number 2, and number 3 spots on the country charts.

In 2004, Rascal went on to release their fourth album called “Feels like Today”. This was their biggest album yet, which went four times platinum and went straight to number 1 on the US Top Country Charts. This album produced the number one hit “Bless the Broken Road”, “Fast Cars and Freedom” and the number 2 hit “Skin (Sarabeth)”.

Nothing stopped Rascal with top hitting albums because they came back in 2006 with “Me and My Gang” which also hit number 1 and went 4 times platinum. This album gave the group more hits like “What Hurts the Most” which went to number 1, “Me and My Gang” which hit number 6, “My Wish” which went to number 1, “Stand” which was another number 1 hit. Therefore, you can see they crank out number 1 hits all the time.

In 2007, they are on the verge of another top selling album called “Still Feels Good”. Their first single so far “Take me There” has already hit number 1 on the charts.

With all the top hitting albums, they have also done songs for soundtracks like the movie “Cars”. They gave that soundtrack a song called “Life is a Highway” which they redid for the movie. Another recent movie in which they did a song was for the soundtrack for the movie “Even Almighty” with the song “Revolution”. Rascal Flatts have proven they are a strong band not only with all their number 1 hits, but also with their huge fan base.
